SAMEEN DAVIDSON

My name is Sameen (she/her) and I'm a copy director, strategic thinker, and creative leader based in Seattle. I've worked in communications, user education, and marketing for 15+ years. I started my career developing zoo and aquarium visitor programs, writing in-depth training resources for educators. At the time, my focus was making science relevant and relatable to the public, which isn’t so different from what I do now: helping clients develop messaging that is is compelling, educational, and human. My superpowers are leading with a strong focus on employment engagement, building innovative creative ops that work well for people, and making creative decisions through a strategic lens.

In my off-time, I like to work on house projects with my husband (we bought a mid-century home 5 years ago and there's always more to do!), hang out with our fur babies, travel, visit new state and national parks, SCUBA dive, lap swim, and practice aerial arts (split silks and sling). I'm also interested in comedy writing--standup, sketch, storytelling, you name it.
